NAILS INC LIMITED EDITION LONDON FASHION WEEK POLISHES

Nails Inc Limited Edition London Fashion Week Polishes

To celebrate 15 years of colour London Fashion Week which of course kicks off today, Nails Inc have partnered with The Fashion Innovation Agency and three of the best emerging British designers to create a range of limited edition polishes. David Longshaw, Teatum Jones and Emma Shipley have all designed packaging for three fashion forward shades all of which are limited edition.

Nails Inc Limited Edition London Fashion Week Polishes

David Longshaw's shade is my favourite a light dusky lilac dubbed Hallam Street, Emma Shipley's offering is Colville Mews which is a light milky nude and lastly the shade I have which is in collobration with David Longshawis Sloane Street which is an almost neon bright pink. I found Nails Inc Sloane Street to require two coats to become opaque both of which dried quickly. Unlike some other Nails Inc shades this is not prone to chipping but may require a top coat if a glossy finish is your preference.

You can find all three Nails Inc Limited Edition London Fashion Week Polishes via Nails Inc for £12 each - link.

YSL ROSE SCABIOSA LA LAQUE COUTURE NAIL LACQUER REVIEW

YSL ROSE SCABIOSA LA LAQUE COUTURE NAIL LACQUER REVIEW

YSL Rose Scabiosa La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer is so beautiful, so easy to apply and not your typical pink. If you are looking for a suit all pretty polish to see you through Spring and into the Summer with ease look no further...

Typically speaking I am not one for pink polish but YSL Rose Scabiosa La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer is so different from any other pink shade I have bypassed that I simply had to purchase it. Sure it is a milky pastel but not overly so that it looks stark rather it is a pink hue that tinkers between lilac and pink - a pink for those who dislike pink if you will. YSL Rose Scabiosa is one of those rare shades that will look great on all skin tones and nail lengths and I for one can guarantee that once applied you will spend the day admiring your nails...I know I do.

At £22 no it is not cheap and as my first YSL La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer purchase I was a little sceptic that it would live up to expectations. However the formulation is beautiful despite being such a light shade - two quick drying coats and you have a beautiful highly glossy finish that does rival the effect you shell out big bucks to achieve at a nail bar. Without a top coat I have experienced two days of wear and now I'm into my third day there is minimum tip wear. Although not cheap I would not hesitate to buy another YSL La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer should the shade be special enough to warrant a purchase.

Unsurprisingly YSL Rose Scabiosa La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer has pretty much sold out everywhere but Boots still have a little stock (it is shade 48)
